The Klassen family of Calgary recently celebrated Christmas Eve dinner by bringing their mother home from the nursing home for the evening. Despite their initial concerns about getting their mother’s wheelchair into the house, the 6 steps to their front porch turned out to be no problem at all thanks to the magic of the Lift2Go. Adaptive staff delivered the lift early on Dec. 24th, set it up, and showed them how to use it so that their mother – who is a little anxious about new things – would feel safe and comfortable. Adaptive staff came and picked up the lift that same evening, so the Klassen’s home was back to normal by 8:30 PM.
