Lift2Go In Self-Operation Mode

The Lift2Go is designed to provide nearly instant wheelchair accessibility at locations that only require temporary access. But that doesn’t mean that all users must rely on an attendant! Any user with sufficient arm strength to operate the manual drive system can use the Lift2Go in self-operable mode as shown here. The maximum force needed is 10 lb (44 N) when the lift is fully loaded with 750 lb (340 kg) at the maximum angle of 35 degrees. More commonly, the force required is in the 5-6 lb (22-27 N) range.

This great clip was shot at during a demonstration at the Kerby Expo 2019 (www.kerbycentre.com) in Calgary.
